The Life Courage Lab

The Difficult Conversations Your Child Needs Are Already Happening
Helping parents become the safe person their child turns to; through practical tools, thoughtful guidance, and courageous conversations.
The hardest conversations are often the ones we avoid
“Am I saying this too early?”
“What if I say the wrong thing?”
“Should I wait until they’re older?”
These questions are more common than we think.
But avoiding difficult conversations doesn’t protect children.
It leaves them unprepared for the real world.
Parenting isn’t about avoiding hard topics
It’s about becoming steady enough to handle them.
Because your child won’t just learn from what you say, they will learn from what you’re willing (or unwilling) to talk about.

Meet Aaron
Hi, I'm Aaron.
For nearly twenty years I've worked alongside children and families as an educator, therapeutic play practitioner, and Discovery Studio Guide.
Over the years, I've realised something.
Parents rarely avoid difficult conversations because they don't care.
They avoid them because they're afraid of getting them wrong.
That's why I created The Life Courage Lab—to help parents replace fear with confidence and build relationships where children feel safe to ask anything.
Welcome to The Life Courage Lab
At The Life Courage Lab, we believe children don't need parents with perfect answers.
They need parents who are willing to stay connected through difficult conversations.
Everything we create is designed to help families:
• Build trust
• Navigate difficult conversations
• Raise wise decision-makers
• Develop courage through everyday moments

Every Difficult Conversation Follows the Same Journey
Slow Down
Pause before reacting.
Observe yourself and your child.

Ask
Seek understanding before giving answers.

Guide
Help your child think, not simply obey.

Empower
Support your child in making wise choices.

This simple framework is woven throughout everything we teach at The Life Courage Lab.

What Parents Are Saying
"Before this course I avoided talking about puberty because I was afraid I'd say the wrong thing.
Two weeks later my daughter asked me a difficult question and, for the first time, I didn't panic.
We had one of the best conversations we've ever had."
